Can collagen be helpful for people with fibromyalgia?

Regular consumption of hydrolyzed collagen can be helpful for people with fibromyalgia, a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain. In one study, 20 participants with fibromyalgia experienced a significant decrease in pain after taking hydrolyzed collagen for 90 days (1). Therefore, It was concluded that the consumption of hydrolyzed collagen may help to alleviate some of the pain associated with fibromyalgia.
