We often get asked whether our marine collagen is safe for dogs, especially for older dogs who may experience joint issues. Although meant for humans, Landish Pure Canadian Marine Collagen is safe for dogs to consume. Just as it is for us, collagen is the building block of your pet's bones, cartilage and skin. Supplementing with hydrolyzed collagen may provide benefits, like improved joint health (1). Many dog treats and supplements these days include hydrolyzed collagen, and our product is no different in function. If anything, it is purer, better quality and Canadian-made.
Please note that the additional ingredients found in any blended Landish collagen products (such as our Marine Collagen Beauty Blend and Marine Collagen Functional Coffee Creamer) may not be suitable for dogs and these products are not recommended for dogs.
