Are your upcycled ingredients organic?

Our upcycled ingredients are a mix of organic and conventional produce, but after they're powdered they're tested for any pesticide residues to ensure purity and safety. Sourcing upcycled ingredients helps to prevent produce from going to the landfill due to supply and demand issues, when they're perfectly fresh, directly from farms in Canada and the US, and distributors as well—a huge problem we're trying to tackle. We see this as the most impactful approach to minimizing food waste while still ensuring a super clean, pure, healthy product.
