Although Landish marine collagen is the purest and cleanest collagen in existence, it's made from wild-caught fish and therefore cannot be certified organic.
However, it is a common misconception that organic farm-raised fish is cleaner or of better quality than wild-caught fish. Farm-raised fish, including those that are labelled as "organic", consume feed that often contains grains, soy oils and yeast and have been shown to have higher levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBS), toxic industrial compounds. In contrast, wild-caught fish consume a natural diet, consisting of invertebrates, plankton, shrimp and smaller fish, and have no possibility of being exposed to harmful toxins, such as antibiotics or bovine, avian, or porcine diseases.
